Steel U-Peg Ground Anchors For Safely Rooting Freestanding Soccer Goals & Hitting Cages Into Grass Pitches
Manufactured from galvanised steel to prevent rusting and ensure safe use of your soccer goal, these steel multi-sport U-Pegs are also quick and easy to use. Simply place the ground anchor over the base frame of a goal before rooting it into the ground using a peg mallet. This is an ideal solution for anchoring a range of different sports goals onto soft ground surfaces, including Soccer Goals, Cricket Cages, Lacrosse Goals, Gaelic/Hurling Goals, Baseball Cages and Golf Cages, making them an essential piece of equipment for soccer clubs, sports centres, or home use.
To suit variable needs, our multi-sport steel U-Pegs are available in three sizes and two thicknesses: 200mm long (6mm steel), 250mm long (8mm steel) & 460mm long (8mm steel). The 200mm and 250mm long U-Pegs can fit over any base frame with a maximum diameter of 72mm. Whereas the 460mm U-Peg anchors can hold goals with base posts measuring up to 110mm wide, making them ideal for securing our FORZA Alu110 goal range (constructed using an elliptical 100mmx110mm frame structure). We also stock pack sizes of 2, 4 or 50 U-Pegs so you can always have plenty of U-Peg anchors to hand.

PLEASE NOTE: A minimum of 2 anchors per goal and 4 anchors per cage (one for each corner) is required; however, more anchors may be needed depending on ground conditions and the size of the goal or cage. If the soil structure is very weak or sandy, then we would recommend using a different goal anchor that Net World Sports offers, such as Sandbags or Counterweights.
